About Mary Alouette a.k.a Alarke:
Mary supports artists build confidence and hone their craft singing, writing, producing, recording, and performing so that they can take their singing from the shower to the stage all while making money and impacting others.
As Alarke, she has been performing internationally in pop, electronic, jazz, opera, theater, and drama for 26 years and has taught thousands of musicians for 13 years. She is also a member of the New York Singing Teachers Association.
Her four electronic and jazz albums have won the Grand Prize in the Washington Area Music Association’s Songwriting Competition, New Artist of the Year, and Best Debut Album. She was an Artist-in-Residence at Strathmore and with the Brooklyn Arts Council. She received a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance with special studies in Digital Composition from the Schulich School of Music at McGill University in Canada.
