Embracing the AND might sound like this:
- The last three years have sucked, AND some of my greatest breakthroughs and connections and insights have all come from it.
- My relationship is really challenging right now AND I’m so grateful how we’ve helped each other grow.
- I have so much on my plate right now I don’t know how to do it all AND I can take it one step at a time.
When we are in the negative, we often spiral further and further into that negative. When we add in the AND, we can pull ourselves out of the negative spiral and bounce back in that same thought. It’s so important to allow yourself to feel the full balance of life so that you don’t see only one perspective.
When you allow yourself to see these different perspectives, you are practicing non-attachment. You’re allowing yourself to bounce back faster by experiencing a range of emotions without those emotions having any meaning about you. AND it will help you get out of the “either-or” thought process.
For me, finding my passion for these clean beauty products is helping me practice more AND in my life and find a path that really brings together all of who I am. Cosmetics can be toxin free AND still perform beautifully!
